Jul 27, 2017: MTU Maintenance, one of the world’s leading providers of services for commercial aero engines has signed exclusive three-year maintenance agreement with Air Burkina, the national airline of Burkina Faso. The agreement for the airline’s four CF34-8E engines from their E170 aircraft covers maintenance, repair and overhaul, on-site services and guaranteed spare engine leasing availability.
MTU Maintenance has been maintaining engines from the CF34 family (CF34--3, -8C/E, -10E) for 15 years and has offered MRO services to over 90 customers worldwide. Services are performed at MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg, a General Electric authorised CF34 service provider. MTU Maintenance performs over 100 off-wing shop visits per year. Air Burkina is their first CF34-8 customer in sub-Saharan Africa.
