HAECO Component Overhaul along with Umbra completes its first Boeing 737NG Flap Ballscrew Overhaul in Mainland China

HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Limited (“HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen)”), is pleased to announce that the company, in association with Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.A. (“Umbra”), has recently finished its first Boeing 737NG flap ballscrew overhaul for a commercial airline customer in Mainland China.

HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) is the exclusive Authorised Repair Station for Umbra’s Boeing 737NG flap ballscrew products in Mainland China. This latest achievement marks a noteworthy milestone in the business and technical relationship between HAECO and Umbra. The two companies have a long-standing relationship in providing world-class aircraft component overhaul services in Mainland China. HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) has been working with Umbra to support their Chinese customers with ballscrew repairs according to the revised Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) 27-51-32-200-803.

HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) operates with superior equipment, including a fully automatic test stand to carry out ballscrew inspections and repairs, offering competitive turnaround times and cost-saving advantages to customers, as well as technical support from the OEM. It strives to provide the best quality overhaul work. All of its technical personnel are equipped with the professional expertise to convey OEM standard repair work, and all repaired units come with release certificates issued by HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen), which are fully recognised by the OEM for warranty coverage.
